There are three requirement for a memorable stay, they are location. location and yes, location. Here at Badger Hill we are fortunate to be able to offer the truly ideal location. We are located perfectly for travelling to Leeds, Bradford, York, etc and excellently situated for the Harrogate International Conference/Exhibition Center. Yet we are on the very edge of the famous Yorkshire Dales, close to the North Yorkshire Moors and locally there is also a rich variety of wildlife and fauna, which makes Badger Hill an excellent choice for discerning nature lovers.

The ancient market town of Knaresborough is within a short walking distance of Badger Hill. The town is famous for its pretty streets, historic viaduct and castle. It also provides all the essentials for a great stay with a good selection of restaurants, inns and cafés.

To the north lies the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, a delightful blend of stunning natural beauty. There is so much to do and remember, breath taking varied scenery, local markets, pageantry, festivals and craft shops. This unspoiled environment can be so quiet and peaceful, yet busy and lively if required. To the east you find the rugged Yorkshire Moors, another national treasure, boasting the largest are of forest in the country, and offering easy trails and longer walks, picnic/barbecue areas, plentiful wildlife and so much more.

Every direction from Badger Hill is awash with National Trust locations, to name just two: Fountains Abbey Hall and Water Gardens - the only world heritage site in Yorkshire. The most complete Cisterian Abbey remains in Britain, including ten historic buildings plus temples, statues, follies and cascades, an elegant 18th century garden with ornamental lakes and a medieval wild deer park with over 600 deer. Birnham Rocks - fantastic rock formations and open moorland overlooking Nidderdale.

There is also the Lightwater Valley Theme Park for the more adventurous, full of "white knuckle rides".
